upcoming mods include the following;
-exhaust (probably magnaflow)
-intake (SLP or K&N)
-headers (headman? still researching :p)

well i admit...i am spoiled...my parents bought me the car...they paid for the first year of insurance...and i have a job that'll pay just about right for the modding of the vehicle ;)


i guess its better to atleast know that im spoiled and its not going to my head :p but dont forget that i respect my parents to the fullest and will probably be living with them even when they're really old and wrinkly hahah...their pension can pay for future cars/mods ;) lol


and about the cold air...i think ill probably get it...i think its like 200 bucks at BestBuy...ill double check though...might be a bit more...is it in good condition?

little advice to nin97....I know modding is always very tempting.....but make sure you have some spare money sitting around...guarentee once your car gets to 100k your gonna need some new parts...water pump, cataylitic converter, optispark, new plugs (very big job on the lt1s) etc....I have a 95 TransAm that topped 100K about 3 months ago and had to replace all the above plus more (luckily the old man chipped in...)...so unless your parents are gonna chip in too, make sure you got some extra dough or your gonna have a nicely modded car with no optispark that sits in the garage and looks pretty!

right now its at ~72k...i got 28k to go ;) by then i should have a better job and some spare cash...and if i dont (as in if i *accidently* spent it on mods) im pretty sure my dad will help out ;D

i was gonna change the spark plugs and the wires a little while ago and i did realize it looks like a tough job =/

i wish i had a first gen...it takes like 10 minutes on them :(

ya, optispark is hell.....but actually changing the spark plugs is your worst nightmare....takes hours and if you get a mechanic to do it theyll charge you hundreds of dollars guarenteed
