yea it does matter, also at a SL the slower the car is and the louder it is, the more they go in dry. 11 sec cars are loud, 15 sec cars arent supposed to be. they might shut you down. or make you stop early. ive seen it with LT1 camaros with the cutout running 13's

doesnt matter, my point is, if your car isnt some sick ass classic or a car that runs realitive to the noise it makes they will come down on you.

outlaw cars still need to be 100% street legal, plus slicks. that is the only difference. all cars running in SL's need to have at least a day permit on it.

100% street legal is a pretty lose term. 5 point harnesses arent street legal, 90% of the quicker outlaw cars are technically too loud to be street legal aswell..among many other things.

well...they had to meet the same street legal specs as the other classes to pass tech, then they have slick. thats what i remember from readin MRP rules. but all cars have to come in with insurance is this true?

actually technically headlights are required lol:
* All vehicles must be accompanied by the registered owner.
* All drivers must have a valid drivers license.
* All vehicles must be street driven, display valid license plates (or temporary permit), have proof of vehicle registration and valid insurance.
* All vehicles must run D.O.T. approved street tires (except cars in the
Outlaw Class).
* All vehicles must be equipped with mufflers and a functional exhaust system that extends at least behind the drivers seat. The maximum allowable noise limit is 90db.
* All vehicles require functioning headlights and taillights.
* Race Electronics are NOT PERMITTED (ie: delay box, throttle stops etc.) Nitrous Controllers OK

99% of the mustangs there only have one headlight. which is not "street legal"

i said "technically".
i dont know why they get away with it. i think the tech requirement is there so ppl dont have fiberglass front ends with painted on lights, etc.
