were they hard to install with motor in car?
MonkeyWrench
05-14-2006, 01:49 PM
if you are asking me. i am going to try to make it down for cypress.
and i still have to get them chem coated befor i install them. but i have been to busy getting my truck ready for a 4x4 rally to do anything to my car but put gas in it
were they hard to install with motor in car?
not at all

I would do a pre fit before getting them coated, if you need to make any "adjustments" to the headers you don't want to do it after they have been coated...

the only prob with that is i am driving my car so i would have to take the manifolds off test the headers then put the manifolds back on so i can drive my car. and hop i don't brake any studs if i did them my car would be down till i got the headers back. i have not heard of any fitment issues so i don't think it would be a prob i hope

I had to remove driver side header to get my motor in then i had to drop my valve cover to sqeeze trhe header down the Cross member. Good Luck.
