1989-up struts

For your records.* Here is a picture of the 1989-up Player's struts.* Notice the "LB" code as this matches the 1991 buildsheet, and notice the part number as well ... NOT 1LE part!* I have the rule books which provide this number as well as suggest the 1LE is OK as a replacement.

In case your wondering ... these struts (and spindles, rotors and PBR calipers a.k.a. 1LE came off a GM cutaway car showcasing GM Performance parts. I bought them for the brakes, but was *shocked* to see the struts. Lucky find.

I bought a few sets of these struts, they were the last ones left in the system

I thought you bought the 1LE parts (which are all but gone now).

I've never been able to find the part numbers on these struts.* They change up 2 or 3 times and are now a 1989 Camaro Vert or something.*

I've checked a non-raced 1989 Camaro and it had the part number on the struts in the pictures.

I'll scan the page out of the rule book and post it. It says the "as delivered" struts or the 1LE parts are accepted.

Prior to 1989, the struts are "unknown". I've tried to find the OEM for them, but no luck. Not GM parts. Still searching.
