View Full Version : 2.8 Head interchangeability please?

Will the heads *off a 2.8 TPI motor work on a TBI motor if I retain all the TBI junk? *Just wondering if I can use the heads.

Whhhhoa. A v6 question! lol! It depends on the year, but yes. The heads all swap. The only thing to watch out for is pre-86 the valves are smaller. Iron heads were always the same, FWD or RWD from 80-85, then big valves from 86-94. But you can't swap FWD aluminum heads on a V6 without major thought.
