Machine Shop

Can anyone recommend a really good machine shop?

I am goning to consider getting my LT1 heads cut for 2.02 intake valves and possibly get them checked and so on.

If anyone can recommend a good place please email or pm or post, thanks.

Also if people have some ruff numbers for this kind of work would be appreciated.

do yourself a self a favour and don't get them done around here...there's a guy outa texas named loyed elliot that is the lt1 head god...good prices too

I plan to do the porting and polishing myself, and I just need some larger valve seats cut, nothing really more.

But if I was considering something more I would def look into other places.

I know that C C racing in richmond can put new guides in and their a great performance shop should be able to grind some seats for bigger valves

Cool, so many places, shit, ok ill give your Uncle a call most likely on the weekend or Monday if they aint open, still need to find a cheap source for valves looking at 2.02's and 1.60!

www.sdpc2000.com (http://www.sdpc2000.com) has them real cheap anyone know of a good place to try in town, I have one source and ill give bestbuy a call. if anyone can think of anything else let me know. thanks
