Yeap! Got me some new box cutters. Retailed for $4.99
So you know what that means...
This all sounds very dangerous
Maybe he's going to fly a Boeing into your house matt
Exactly! Thanks Mike!
These box cutters together with our red bandanna's will allow us to turn any commercial airliner into a tool of vengeful jihad.
We put a jihad on Matt because he's such an infidel. His infidelity knows no bounds! It sickens me so much that I have no choice but to hijack a plane and crash it into his house! It doesn't matter how many innocent bystanders are killed nor does it matter if my conspirators and I die also... If it results in the death of Matt (or at least his dog) then it'll be worth it.
Ive already had my 20 hours flight time on an out dated Cessna. I am now ready to pilot a sophisticated jet air plane with a skill and precision that will astonish civilian and military pilots alike.
After I crash the plane into the infidels house. The government will use the media to blame it all on an old foggy, retired freedom fighter who lives in a cave somewhere in the mountains of Afghanistan. The country will then join Israel and descend into perpetual war against the middle east.
Hey does any of this sound absurd to you? Think about how absurd this whole scenario is next time your thinking about 911.
Have you ever been in the cockpit of an airliner? Do you realize how automated everything is? The only tricky part about flying a plane is taking off and landing. If you flew an airborn plane for 30 minutes and weren't a complete retard you'd be able to hit those buildings.
BTW - Carbon blades are much easier to get through customs.

The fact you went out of your way to post something as redonculous as this on the interweb is hilarious.

You can't see the ground from the windows and these planes fly above the clouds anyway. So for the hijackers to find New York from where they gained controll of the plane is a pretty good accomplishment.
Let alone gaining controll of the plane in the first place. The door to the cock pit is usually locked and the pilots are ex military. I find it hard to believe they'd give up the plane to some yahoos with box cutters.
And it didnt just happen once, it happened three times! Four planes were hijacked and 3 of those 4 hit their targets. It was a lucky day for plane hijackers.

You've got a point there, but you do realize but posting this the CIA is gonna have to kill you.
No he doesn't. Hold a knife up to a stewardess' neck and see how easy it is to get whatever you want.
And I'm familiar with cockpits. As I said, the only difficult part is taking off and landing. Do you even know what any of those controls/gauges are for? No? Didn't think so. You're not an expert in the field so why talk like it?

Soapstone is the way to go!
i llike how manchester took what could have been a rather humorous post and turned it into a steaming pile of sarcastic, paranoid, shit.
And I'm familiar with cocks. As I said, the only difficult part is taking off and landing. Do you even know what any of those are for? No? Didn't think so. You're not an expert in the field so why talk like it?
*sigh* I love editing posts.
Note: Nothing was added that wasnt already there :p

Well sure, if the pilot doesn't let them in the cockpit they might kill a few flight attendants, but they would also know that if they let them in then everybody on the plane is dead.
Anyway I met a US Marine and got to talking to him. I told him what I think about the events of 911. He didn't seem surprised or freak out or anything. He told me that he didn't believe the government planned the attacks, but he did believe they knew it was gonna happen and that they allowed it to happen.

umm, they said they had bombs and if any on tried anything they would blow up the plane. No one thought they were going to crash the plane intentionally!! Everyone was ignorant and had only seen cliched movies were if you sit down and shut up you'll get home safely. Thats why the final plane had an uprising, it was the well after the WTC's and everyone knew what was going on.
Your are hopeless. Stop trying to sew together a bunch of hearsay and theories to pander these asinine, ludicrous and out right ridiculous theories. Stop viewing this with a tainted anti-establishment filter, and see it for what it truly is: A fucking tragedy! Not some elaborate warmongering plot.
Really? A marine? No way! He must totally have complete knowledge of the inner working of the gov't. Bah, I doubt he was even an officer ::)
And are you retarded? How many plane hijackings have led to the plane being crashed into buildings prior to 9/11? Do you think it was safe for the pilot to assume that it was just a hijacking to free a political prisoner or for money? Wait, I'm sorry. Those are extremely rare occurances ::) OBVIOUSLY if you were the pilot you'd instantly know the intentions of the terrorists and let them slowly kill off passaengers and crew while you sat in your cockpit all heroic-like.
And I've still yet to see a retort about the whole manouver thing. What's that? You've never even flown a little Cessna? Get real buddy. The only people that knew what really happened are those responisble.
As far as the gov't knowing what happened. They get millions of 'possible threats' a year. It's impossible to determine which are false, and which are actually planned. Whether or not 9/11 was known about prior to happening, I couldn't tell you... but really there was no way to prevent it from happening.

This is from Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_games_in_progress_on_September_11%2C_2001
In the two years before the September 11 attacks, NORAD and other military agencies conducted exercises simulating hijacked airliners used as weapons to crash into targets, including the Pentagon, and causing mass casualties. Until September 11, 2001, NORAD conducted four major exercises a year. Most included a hijack scenario, and some of those involved planes as weapons.
So it would seem that the military was preparing for an attack exactly like 911. Too bad they weren't able to intercept the planes before they hit the towers. I wonder what held them back.
Before they planned these war games they have to have asked themselves: Is it right to shoot down a hijacked airliner if we know its going to be used as a weapon? Kill the few to save the many, the answer is yes of course. This is what appears to have happened to flight 93.
I agree that it is a fucking tragedy. I won't argue with that. A lot of innocent people lost their lives that day. But a shitload more lost their lives as a result of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Is it fair to say that 1 American life is worth 20 Afghan lives?
Anyway you make a good point Mark. I will take your advice and tone down my anti establishment filter. I'll try to focus more on all the good things that the government is doing.

Hi, can you please build a time machine and go back in time to argue what the states COULD HAVE done to prevent this? 2001 was 5 years ago, GET THE FUCK OVER IT
Wait, wikipedia is a user-edited 'encyclopedia' isn't it?
NORAD always trains for hijacking situations just like firefighters and police always train to do their job. Using planes for missiles was not an entirely new concept on 9/11, so of course "some" (directly from your quote) drills will cover those scenarios.
And I'd love for you to be the commanding officer that tells the pilot he's gotta shoot down the plane over a major metropolitan area.
There are VERY few incidences where military aircraft have actually tried to intercept hijacked airplanes because it simply escalates the situation further. Almost all hijackings are ended with a crash or on the tarmac. Don't believe me? Look it up. As I said before, there is no way to know that the planes were being used as missiles. I bet if your family was on a hijacked plane you'd start seeing it through everyone else's eyes. What if it got shot down as wasn't going to be used as a missile? What if the situation could have been resolved peacefully, but they fired instead? I bet you would be pretty damn upset about that policy.
I used to thnk like you when I first started hearing all of the coincidences involving 9/11... Then again, I was 15-16 and ignorant. You have to start looking at things from more than one point of view and it'll start making sense to you. I personally agree with you that the actual story given is a little bit iffy and full of holes, but thinking the U.S. Gov't was involved or knew exactly what was going to happen is complete garbage.

So you admit that there are a lot of odd coincidences around 911, and that the official story is full of holes? Maybe your not so bad after all.
You also raise an important point. Wether or not to shoot down a plane if one knows its going to be used as a weapon. That a major moral dilemma. Bush has made his choice, many other countries have passed legislation to authorize shooting down hijacked planes. The only country that opposed this legislation is Germany. They figured it would violate the constitutional rights of the passengers. Indeed it would, so its a tough call.
I guess if I was the commander and my family was on the plane I wouldn't order them to shoot. But then again if my family was in the building about to be hit by the plane, then I'd give the order to shoot without hesitation.
