splines

i was just wondering if anyone knew how many splines my axels have off the top of there head, 1989 2.8L RS 5sp 3.73
i just dont feel like lookin.

should be the same as the 2.8L s-10, with 3.73's... should be 26 spline, same as my cutty

I believe it depends on ring gear size,
7 5/8 get 28 spline
7 1/2 get 26 spline

but I'm not 100% sure

88 and up got 28 spline

well both ways i have a 28 spline then because i have a 7 5/8's ring gear thanks for the info.
