the ones which you will sometimes observe while going into corners as well as off ramps. usually yellow in color, is that the speed that NEEDS TO BE DONE? or is that the recomended speed?

The yellow signs are advisory speed limit signs and are usually with a warning sign for an upcoming curve in the road.

Exactly. You can choose to follow or disregard the suggested limits based on your experience and the road conditions. You will run into trouble if you fail to heed them and something happens because of it, but not otherwise.

well I passed, only thing i did wrong was go too slow. there was a school zone, which I knew was in effect, then there was a playground zone, which i thought was in effect (diamond yellow sign with kid chasing ball) however she stated it is not in effect unless states the 30km/hr sign just like a school zone one. opps. my bad

then she thought i was speeding, she asked whats the speed limit, and i was like ugh... 50km/hr. and then she says right, whats yoru speed, I said 50, shes like is it? I'm like ok.... 52 lets say, and she kidna gives me a look, and then we finally get the point of the conversation, that she thougth i was doing 60, well with the s10 the needle is about 1/4" BEHIND the numbers, meaning if you look at it off to one side, it will appear about 10k faster. after me telling her I wa sdoing 50 and she said it looks like 60 to her, she then noticed while I was goign NOWHERE that it shows 10 already lol

i took my test 4 years after i got my N. me and the tester bsing the whole time then he asked me "we don't need to go through a school zone do we?" i was like fuck no. so then he told me just to head back. never had his clip board thing open the whole time. just opened it when we parked was like "did i write and think down.. nah" checked it all off and singed it. when inside and all the ppl in the office where like wow that was quick. the key is to just talk to the person and be relaxed

pff malibu would be bad luck. i'd hae liked to but i'd probably never would have passed with that for some reason , get caught in the moment of merging in the hwy and see how quick I can max out my speed. I say 14.5 seconds
