Who cares, it's his car, he can do what he want with it
Plus really the only difference in LT1 SS's is the hood, which he already has.

In some ways I agree with Amit.
I dont think there is anything wrong with putting the wheels on to add some traction, the hood if you actually make it funtional etc. But why the badges?* It is a nice car I would leave it. Although I do agree with the centre caps

i've actually thought about this before. if i got an SS hood and spoiler i might feel weird having z28 badges, but if i switched the badges i still might feel weird. it would be a tough call...i wouldn't want to go badgeless like them v-dubbers

or acura boys..
actually the lt1's have a few diferences , totally different intake to act like a ram air for the ss hood
the ls1's however dont change at all , the hood looks like a ram air but actually the air get circulated up and around inside the hood and into the same intake as the z28 , adds about 10 hp at some speed ,
and both cases isnt there a bit of different suspension ?
youre driving a LIE.
 c'mon now it's not that bad :gay:
i love amit he's my hero hahahahah
personally i'm ok with clones...i just wouldn't do it but hey if it floats your boat!
i was gonna get an SS hood for my car...but i like the fact i had a z28
the ss hood that i was gonnag et was an OEM GM Carbon Fiber SS hood used on prototype camaros in the mid 90s (which eventually turned into the 2000 zl1 i think) so there were a few hoods that never got used and were sold to public when the plants closed...the guy wanted 800US and it was a perfect OEM fit...would've been a cool thing to own regardless

who cares if you have a ss hood or wheels on a z28 or rs?
its the badging that determines if you are a ricer or not. especially if there is no performance to back up your claims...
