Did anyone here replace their window motor? Mine is starting to go. Also, is the Opti Spark on the 95 and up vented?

the windows on f-bods always crawl upslowly, even with new motors, thats how it is..

and i believe the 95 and up f-bods r vented as far as the opti-spark is

1) nobody was talking abt windshield wipers
2) doesnt sound like a motor issue

water pump is fine. didn't leak. the guy who flushed my coolant sprayed water all over the engine. I runs fine. been a week. don't really idle funny when warmed up. only when it's cold the rev kinda bounce a little. could it be the coil? As for the window motor, it's starting to go cos it would stop half way or 1/4 way. would never go all the way up without stopping on its own. I saw that website. Looks like bitch if u ask me. all the drilling on the door. stupid design

lol, someone washed your lt1 with a hose?!?!

Yep, your opti is pooched! Hell, people have been known to short out the opti driving through puddles so you can imagine what a stream of water from a hose is going to do.

Would anyone be interested in putting power windows in my car? Sadly enough I don't have them. I really don't care much for them cause I never drive the car around in the rain, actually I never really do get a chance to drive the care anymore. But-ah, is anyone interested at all!?! :fingersx:

I did my window lift motors on my 95 T/A

theres 4 rivets you have to drill out, and the best way to mount the new lift motor is to go to Lordco and buy the biggest rivets they have

plugging the electrical connector is a pain in the ass if you have big arms...get ur kid or younger brother or chinese neighbour to do it for you
