I just found an 85 camaro it has iroc decals up the side and t tops the guy said it has a 350 and its a 5 speed.....has some surface rust paints fucked interior is somewhat screwed (roof falling fow) because its missing a t top......he says the trannys fucked but the motor runs strong and sounds good......car has nice tires and not too shabby rims.

Would you guys pay 500 bucks for this car.........Im not too sure about how much it would cost too fix those things.....?

i wouldent buy it just because he says it's a 350 with a 5spd......right there that's wrong unless he did a tranny swap....,he could get away with it cause a 350 does look like a 305,but i'd guess it's a 305. I woulden't buy it not worth the headaches it's gonna cause u even a nice one will give u headaches so a shitty one will give u ten times more headaches!

350 with 5spd doesnt sound wrong to me. thats what i got, its easy to swap out a 305 for a 350. $500 is a pretty good deal. Id buy it.

who the fuck cares how much work it is?!?! DO IT!!! pretty basic as long as u get every single wire u need....just move the whole thing over ull be good to go. if its manual (hope it is) ull need to put pedals in and stuff. id ask on TGO...im sure somebody has already tried it. shifter should line up...if not u could just get a T-56 out of an LT1 or sumthin. isnt this guys insurance gonna want the car tho?

and jesse you said ask for more info on this on tgo.....im a net noob what is that....?

This car is going to get completely stripped and rebuilt ground up with the C6/Z06 setup.

I was thinking about getting my friend too do some custom painting and air brushing on the car too finish it off; but I want it too look as stock as possible so I think ill just go back too the cars reg. blue with the white IROC up the sides and the reg decals.

That way when someone pulls up expecting to blow my doors off he/she will have a nasty surprise waiting for em under the hood lmao.

tgo is thirdgen.org its fullll of tech articles and ppl that have done cool shit like this. definately need to get signed up there. so u have an LS7 right? i believe its exact same size and everything as an LS2 just with different intake maybe? im sure somebody has done an LS2 into a third gen

88 - Im not sure what he charged If anything as my pops picked it up for me from his buddy (in Alberta). App the cars fucked (lots of body damage) but the motor drivetrain fraim etc is all still ok.
