91 camaro w/stock wc t-5 w/145k on it
my 355 is running about 400 hp, i plan to change out the trans to a super t-10, im stuck on deciding between
3.55 and 3.73. i was told to use 3.73 but recently my brain was a little scrambled with all these guys pushing 3.55's i dont know. the car doesnt go on the highway or anything its just a sunnyday car!! i just dont want it completly undrivable for the street.dont want to have to start in third or somthing.
main objective is to improve 1/4 time.

first of all, why a super T10 = JUNK
get a WC T5, much stronger and still have overdrive.
3.55 gears are good if you are running a 26" tire and planning on going faster than 12's or at least low 12's
with a 3.73 gear and 26" tires you may run out of gear before the 1/4 mile is up

i dont fucking know? all i want is the 3.08 out and be able to reach low 12's, is the t-5 really gonna hold up?my tires now measure 25 1/2", they are being sold. i want to run street slicks on either a 15 or 16 inch rim.

M22 is four speed, no over drive, old tech, get at least a 5spd or even a 6spd

ide rather go to the 4spd. problem is i have to get my wc t-5 sold and find a m22.im running a older style block, has the differen bolt pattern on the crank for the flywheel.so right now im mixmatching shit , i have a open spot under my bellhousing because older clutches and fluwheels were larger.so ive got a larger flywheel and a newer smaller clutch.wont pass inspection like this.so anyways i have a wc t-5 for sale..

M-22 rocks, but good luck finding. My $0.02 says a Tremec TKO 5-speed. As to gears, depends if you want to go through the traps in third gear at 6400RPM with the 3.55s and 28" slicks, or fourth gear at 5400 with the 3.73s and 26".
