MY TRANNY!!! 700r4

well looks like i wont make it to the meet, as my tranny needs a rebuild

its got 193 xxx km on it apparently its not safe to drive anymore :P clutch line was decinegrated and now im gonna need to open her up

so my question is what kind of setup do i want on this rebuild? its gonna be mostly for street i want a stage 2 shift kit? and its got a 305 for now but later on i will do a 350 after i get back to school and all.... i would like to stick with as much original look as possible as well (so stock shifter) and money might be a little bit of an issue.. i dont want nothing TOO TOO fancy but soemthing a bit above stock u know

your right that is scary, cuz theres no such thing as a clutch line :-X

hmm paper says "friction material in filter, rearseal and bushings leaking

dont remember what they said but clutch something???

hmmm its gonna go to a tranny shop the next few days and taken apart and see how ti all goes

tell them to put corvette servos (sp) in it, makes it shift harder

better get your nylon mufler bearing checked out when they replace the clutch line ;D

and while you at that, throw some summer air in the tires and some halogen headlight fluid for better visibility :P

I think they can recondition your winter air, it may cost a little more but its well worth it :P

ok cool. if i go to a 700r4 wat do i have to change cause i got a turbo350 in my car right now. i heard i have to shorten the drive shaft anything else i should know?

elton if u wait a few weeks, i may end up selling mine.. its got something like 13,000 km on it, full reciepts it was well over $3500 i cant remember the exact price but i have a reciept..
its a 700r4 its got the corvett servos, stage 2 shiftand some other crap.. id have to look at the reciept... but its a mint tranny..
