Where to Get Window Tinting done??

I have never really had to pay to get my windows tinted cause I knew some guys at Houle motor sports in Langley but now there closed and I really dont know where to get a good tint job done, any suggestions?

And does anyone actually know the rules about tinting the other windows?

How much tint can I put on the windows of my car?

This depends on how you are doing the tinting. If you are replacing the glass with glass that has the tint incorporated in it, as long as the glass is marked with the proper AS grade for the position it is installed in, this is correct. If you are applying something to the window, you are allowed to tint the top 10 cm of the windshield, any side window where the whole window is behind the driver's shoulders, and the rear window if you have outside mirrors on each side of the vehicle. Reference 7.05(8)&(9)Motor Vehicle Act Regulations.

bascially u cant tint our thirdgen side windows i did with mine though with 35% and never been pulled over for it i think 35% charcol tint is fair anything else lower ur gonna get pulled over

dont know. he did my girlfriends cavalier all 5 windows for $160

back = as much tint as u want, (5% is darkest i ever see)
sides = none legally allowed

Thanks for the info. I just talked too the guy at tyco and he told me that he wanted $195 for the sides and the rear window. and that was cash. Just thought I would give you the prices!

sounds like a pretty fair deal, just make sure they use 3M or sunguard film, and get a lifetime warrenty (maybe a problem cash in hand), either way, should be good, just make sure they're good, street legal are, and get my full backing, really good ppl to deal with, even washed my car, and cleaned the inside for me, for free when i got the sides done... very professional

Shades in port moody does a good job, I think my buddy paid $170 for sides 50% and rear 5%

i get all mine done at Eclipse in abbotsford...it was $50 for 5% on the sides $50 for 5% on the windshield and i think $110 for 5% on the back

ya i did 5% on the windshield...i dont like the idea of having people see in my car so it helps a lot

driving isnt too hard really but it takes some getting used to. I had 5% on the windshield of one of my previous cars so it wasnt that new to me.

Audio Terrorist, eclipse is on peardonville road right near the subway by the highway. They do very good work and its cheaper if you pay in cash. You might be able to find a cheaper place in town im not sure, eclipse is the only company ive ever used.

i havent been in there in a few months but i only think they do black tint, no fancy silver, red, yellow stuff. I dont think they do tribal designs either if thats what you were thinking about.
