View Full Version : Laptop in 3rd Gen

Anyone ever thought about putting a laptop in their Thirdgen, for Solitare, at red lights etc..

Lately i've been looking around at putting a 40 gig Ipod into my car.

Also i'm not sure what it is called but i'm looking for a console cable that plugs into a 3rd gen dash, to do some diagnostics.

to diagnose I just use a peice of wire and count flashes,
much cheaper ;D

I was thinking of setting up my Laptop in my IROC for winADL diagnostics. I have the cable I need to mount the laptop somehow.

I have a sweet vaio with a dvd player and its like done out to the max i would love to put in my car, but the screen broken (which is why i got a screaming deal) I can still plug it in to normal moniters and stuff, i just wish i had a screen. Dvd's in the maro would be dope.

Ya, I had to do that a week ago. Take a wire, stick it in the proper plugs,(top right ones in my car) and after code 12, count the flashes for other codes.

that only works when you have a SES light. You need the laptop for PROM burning.

well, lets see, its 2004, and I said 2007, so I'd say about 3 years :)
