Hey IROC-Z that white camaro beside your blue camaro in your avatar, the owner lives in Burkeville right?

I may be mistaken but I think that white car is near #4rd and Williams. If I am wrong...then theres another one just like it.

Yeah, the white IROC's a south richmond car, 4 and Williams block behind McNair school... seen it around, looks serious (roll cage, etc). Apparently he bags his fair share of 5.0Ls

Nope. Different car. That white one with the blue cage is 100% stock, 305 5speed 1LE R7U ((Players Challange)). The previous owner has been on this site a few times. Its just a plain 305 nothing special motor wise. The white one with the ROH rims and cowl hood is in that area too. Im about a mile or so West as well.

Theres a 91ish white Z with red cage in new west. no muffler just pipe, monster tach and chevrolet sticker in window with stock wheels....parked on royal every day in front of a bodyshop goin down towards stewardson. i see it everyday goin to work. Looks like a sleeper. Anyone know this car?

isit better to use full length or shorty headers on third gen. i was thinkin of using full length and puttin the pipes out just befor the rear tires

full length will give you some issues with ground clearance but you'll get more HP out of them

this is how I run my true-dual exhaust, I could have 4" duals if I wanted. Of course theirs no exhaust in there right now.

ok well i wasa gonna go with SLP Headers and Y-pipe with no cat and then series 80 buttttttttttt ur dual exhaust sounds intriguing. Only two problems, I need to know how much it costs cuz i heard its so freakin expensive and will u really give u that much better of a sound then the setup i listed??? i don't care about hp, just sound.

its very expensive but the sound is NOT comparable. its COMPLETELY different

an 80 series sounds very good
my 305 with manifolds sounds great
a 350 with headers would sound amazing
but nothing sounds like dual 40 series
personally i don't like the sound as much when there is an h-pipe

i will be haveing true dules with an Xpipe 3 inch with super 40ies muffler going to be sick
http://www.sweet-thunder.com/chambered_general_main.html#stainless
i want to fabricate a true dual system with these mufflers. same style gmmg uses, same style as the chambered exhaust from the 69 camaro except this shit flows. loud and deep sound. I always see the white camaro behind mcnair, i live around there. whos is it?

ive been thinking of making my own exhaust for a long time...dual exhause...complete traight pipe no muffler...no cat...just headers off my 305 and then straight back 3 inch...buuuut do i need back pressure? cause that would have NO back pressure at all... and steve...headers off a 305 no cat 3' stainless all the way back to an 80 series...DOES SOUND AMAZING
89vert

true dual isn't needed until your over 400hp,
a 3" mandrel bent would be optimal,
I don't have headers, just 80 series and tips no cat,
well my mufler/exhaust is full of cat right now, main reason for my slow ass times couple fridays ago
its a long story
dual 3" straight pipes would rob lots of torque and most likely make you car gay slow

i meant my car..as i do have headers and 3' stainless toan 80series no cat....it sounds sweet...really open and throuaty.
but why would dual 3" rob tourque and make my car gay slow? cause of no back pressure?
