My 305 TPI is running rich. Is there anyway to lean it out manualy?
Or is it all computer done? Would I have to take it into a dealer
and get the chip re done?

who says its running rich?
how is it modified if at all?
when they did the computer test what were you BLM and INT at?

dealers can't burn you a chip, actually its illegal, I can burn you a chip,
but I'm not to keen on doing it as a bandaid for another problem,
unless your car is fairly highly modified, the computer should be able to compensate,
if your BLMs an INT are pinned to 108 and the car is stock and running rich I'd lean towards O2,
and don't buy those shit cheapo 1's too, they are worht as much as a peice of toilet paper I just wiped my ass with
by a delco 1 and delco only,
also has silicone been used on your car recently or even in the same room as your car, cause that will kill them instantly

I just replaced the O2 sensor. Its running Better, but you can
still hear a low puff in the exhaust. My mechanic friend used
some O2 from a tank and stuck it in my intake and the problem
went away. could it be my intake thats not bringing in air?
maybe need to clean my air filters? sounds silly but? we ran
a test with a hand held computer that you plug in under the
steering wheel. It reads the car computer, I dont know what its
called.

how do you know it is running rich?

what on the hand held scanner siad it was rich?

if the exhaust leak is near the O2 that can effect it

hook back up to the scanner tell me what the BLM and INT are reading,

really dirty filters can make you car run rich, but they got to be really dirty,
I'd think you'd notice a power loss first

is this low puff sound in your exhaust why you think its running rich?
sounds moree like an igniton problem then a fuel problem,

I'm interested cause its not easy to get an FI car to run rich, to where you would notice, aircare might but you wouldn't
