Has anyone here ever pulled 1?
Do I need any special tools?

Stupid GM couldn't leave the fucking distributor where it's supposed to be

mine's in the shop because of this fuckin problem...the POS is behind the god damn water pump....what a stupid ass engineering crew that thought of that...and to make it out of plastic? right on lol

maybe your taking about the inductive pick up, because that is what went bad on the DISTRIBUTOR

the distributor is called the "optispark" on lt1's...why couldn't they just leave it where it has always been!?!?!?

I've been trying to get my dad to do that, he wants to rebuild the LT1 for the second time, I want to put the distibutor in so I can drive it

i have an LS1 for sale :)

you don't need a special tool, just pull. :)
