I'm going to replace my clutch in a couple weeks and I'm not really sure who makes decent clutches for our cars. I was going to just stick a stock one in, but besides that, whats a good option? (its for a T-5.)

well there will eventually be a 350 in the engine bay, so I definitly want to upgrade now so its ready to go.

I was looking at Zoom orRam clutches as an upgrade currently or using an AC Delco or Fenco as just a stock replacment.... I've yet to hear positive comments about Centerforce tho...so staying away from that one.

I would go SPEC, my centerforce is great but its already worn/wearing out my clutch master/slave.

Stock masters/slaves aren't strong enough to unclamp a centreforce I is told

centerforce is junk in a 3rd gen. The weights on the pressure plate provide too much force for the shitty master, slave and plastic line that connects them. This causes master and slaves to wear out quickly, which in turn makes the clutch pedal engagement right off the floor. Then you'll start breaking tranny cause the clutch isn't properly disengaing between shifts. The 4th gen master and salves are built much better and connected with a braided line so these issues don't occur in those cars.

Now for a clutch recomendation, if on a budget go with a Dynapack (best bang for your buck, they really aren't bad clutches). If you want a really good clutch buy a Spec.

Stock clutch is the best bet for a stock car. No need for a super strong clutch that will just make driving a more arduous

i wish textralia would make clutch's for lt1 t56's :'(
