Beater maybe kinda sounded shitty, was standard probably just didn't know how to drive it. He almost caught up. Yup iroc22 was right LS1 T/A auto non WS6 :-[not stock anymore. Over the winter got new eaton, 3:73's, sfc's, stainless magnaflow ehxaust, crap tuner, new wider rubber, so should be a lot quicker than last year. Feels a lot better now most of that was probably from the gay 2:73's that were in there before.

But no, they're not really faster, at least from the threads I've read. I've also beaten one c5Z, and I just have the ls2. I'm fairly certain the ls3 would pull on the c5z stock for stock.

Those ls6's take to mods quite well though.

But really, they're all not very fast except for the C6Z.
