Hey Tz_89_Z. I own a 1989 Players Iroc that is white in color with a black interior. I found it in Fernie B.C. It is documented as coming from Dueck GM. My last six Vin numbers are only 50 off of yours! They are 155611. It would be interesting to see which dealership yours came from. Have you had time to get documentation for it from GM Canada vintage services? Well, I am glad there is another 1989 R7U owner on this site!

Hey yeah its the one from buysell, I got her for 3800$, which i didnt really mind, the rest of them were out of my budget the reason being that my dad and I just put a downpayment on a house, so I was left with very little cash for the iroc I wanted, I bought her without the dvd player, but like the las owner said, newer exhaust, New tires, and it had been well taken care of, and an o.k. paintjob.
So Lee our cars are only 50 numbers off eh? how much was it to find out the history of the car? and who do I call? Mine as mentioned before has the red interior, hopefully with all the spare interior parts from my last camaro I'll be able to make it black/white - ish, to match the outside, well its just an idea for now. As you guys can tell Im very excited with this car, my last camaro wasnt the greatest ahaha.

Anyways my name is Tony and Im located in burnaby, so if u see a white camaro with a spanish guy behind the wheel, thats me :cool:

well you definitely want to keep every piece of that car for collectability..
red might not be your fav but its original. if the car isnt exactly what you want you could think about now selling this as an R7U and turn a decent profit, then go buy what you want

Yeah you guys are right, my idea was to take out some of the interior and put it in storage, and use the old parts i have lying around, so its not altering anything, just temporarily replacing, i know it would be worth more in original condition, oh by the way, anyone know any good 3rd gen mechanic in burnaby, new west or even north surrey? my right front brake is leaking, havent traced exactly what is leaking though, I'll try and find that out later on this week,

ahaha who would have known eh? guess im just lucky, i dont plan to sell her anytime soon, partially because as soon as i told my dad all the info that you guys told me he wont let me sell it, modern muscle car it is for the brakes then, so i will probably fully insure it at the end of the month :cool: , then you guys can invite me to your camaro meetings :fingersx:
