i wonder if it would be worthwhile to find one of those alpine amps used for cheap and rip it all apart and mount that digital gauge in your dash.

ya, it'd be worth it, but unfortunately its all integrated circuts. prolly be way too complicated for it to be feasable :-\

or you could just buy a digital meter (http://www.dakotadigital.com/products.cfm/-/Category=5/category5.htm) and run it in-line. seems easier to me.

i think alpine sells a gauge which also controls all the settings on the amp there is a port on my 300 to plug somthing in
