Legal Question

I was thinking of putting in a SLP hydraulic roller in my car, but it says "not legal for pollution controlled vehicles"...

Does that mean I wont pass aircare, or just that its not legal..?

Also, should i go for whole cam kit which includes the 51013 Cam, Springs, Retainers, Locks or just the roller?

(And dont say just get the head-and-cam package, cause if i spend 3500 on my car my girlfriend will leave me >:()

almost every aftermarket cam says that... and every area has its own set of emission levels and rules... depending on the specs of the cam, it will eather pass or fail here, in the vancouver area... no its not illegal

news flash, ive never passed aircare in 3 years. i look for ways around aircre instead of trying to pass it :P

basically i have a grand i want to put in my car at the moment, and i figure upgrading the cam and putting in a FIPK would be splendid, but if i cant pass aircare i dont see how i can do that

or should i do headers and intake instead of cam and intake?

definately headers is one of the first mods to be done :)

if you want one to look at i got one for sale way cheaper then an ls1 cam, and you can still hit people with it ;D $100

i use a sniffer to tune my car for aircair :)

LT headers, and a true dual system with cats would eat up a g ez and should be worth about 20 to 30 rwhp ;)

hmm, already got a flowmaster on with dual cats, goin true dual wouldnt make that much of a dif i dont think,

gonna go headers and fipk, remove the cats and mod my ram air intake to let in more air, could be good for up to 40-50 horse id think, and have some cash left over for a MAF or a prostitute

methelhydrate(sp) put a liter in a tank of gas, your car will run bad for that tank but it will pass aircare no problem

just got a FIPK II off ebay for 200 canadian....370+tax new....i love ebay..time for headers
