Is a rear from a 96 Camaro a straight bolt into an 85 ? Are they wider , wondering if wheels will still fit.
wider by 2ins on each side
other wise straight bolt on

e-brake cable diff to i think

e brake cables are different, 2 inches wider per side, yes original wheels will fit, but will stick out an additional 2" per side.... if ur not into that look, start looking for 4th gen wheels.

i agree. but that being said, there are some crazy people out there that dont mind the rez rocket look

I may be CrAzY , but that doesn't mean I like UGLY ! Tires sticking out looks OK on some OLD SCHOOL rides but not 3rd Gens ( IMO ).This car is lowered anyway there isn't 2" of room from tires to fenders now.I am looking for a decent posi for my 3rd gen and came across a good deal on a 4th gen. Not going to happen ! Thanks guys

That doesn't look all that bad ! Still won't work for me but they are just flush , not sticking out like some people have on 2nd gens and such.

LOOKS FINE---I have 285's with 1/2" wheel adapters.
