Ok today was my first day driving around with the "new" 9-bolt rear. The first 50kms went very smooth, I was very happy with it.
As I was driving home at night, going about 60ish, I stepped on the clutch and started to glide towards a red light. I put the gear in neutral as well.
Then felt this vibration from the rear. I can't really describe the tone of the noise, but it felt and sounded like a high freqency vibration from the rear.
This would go away if I started to accelerate.
So I pulled into a parking lot, let it glide with the motor off, I can clearly feel the vibration. I didn't have a flash light on me so I just took off again, but the noise never came back...
So... is my posi going? if that's the case this really sucks... I got this thing from IROCNPARTS a year ago, put the swap off till this summer, and finally got it on after so much fucking work... and now this
Anyways I did the "positest" where I got my dad to hold one and try turning the other one by hand. It did turn, but took some force (not sure if it's 35ftlbs worth), so i thought it would be ok...
