The 68460 is a full length header, are you gonna be going to full dual exhaust? If not you'd want the 68470 (shorty). Both good deals.

oh really hmm i asked him about if they came with y pipes and he said no so i thoguht he would know i dont have true duals but i will be doing that after this summer, will these still work with what i have for now?? or will i have to pick one that will t

Hedman does have headers with a Y-pipe 68471 or 68481? Hooker also offers same, but cost $480ish. Edelbrock'd be cheaper. Or just get those Hedman 68470s and have a new Y-pipe fabbed. Could probably fab something for the 68460s as well if you wanted.

i wanted hooker headers because they are better quality but ended up putting hedmans on the car because of cashflow at the time(383 = no money)
i picked up the headers for about 130 and the y-pipe for 80.
they are still ok they have been on the car for a year.

what does everyone think of the Edelbrock headers p/n EDL-6876

on thirdgen.org they say it only fits on 1982-87 and apparently the 88-89 p/n are 6875?? im confused since the chart loooks exactly the same

ehhh Hedman's quality is always questionable, but Hooker has always been awesome since Holley bought them.
