The other day i was headed home from work, i was drivin southbound on clearbrook, when i noticed a brand new ford mustang shelby GT get off the highway exit ramp and on to the overpass towards the way i was going. so i caught up and we came on to an open stretch of road by the airport. i went into the opposite lane, we looked at one another and he gives the gas first, with a fast reaction so did i. next thing you notice im flying by him with my 02 camaro ss with minor mods like exhaust n power programmer. those shelbys are powerful cars but i bet the driver didnt know what he was doin, i was shocked and excitied.

it must have been a straight GT, they barely even break 300hp, damn rights your 2002 ss would have slayed it

the only newer stangs you have to watch out for (except for the highly modified) are the expensive ones like the GT500, they're turbo 500+hp and they'll run low 12s stock

they're pretty rare though

theyre not that rare, and they are supercharged ,and watch out for the 03-04 cobras too :nono:

musta been a regular GT, a shelby gt500 with even a shitty driver would still kill your car i think...

Ive seen the 04 Cobras at the track in mission. They killed the 02 SS Camaro that it was going against. I still think that the stang had some mods in it because it ran a 10 second 1/4 mile.
