one of my side windows rattles a lot.. it's tight when it's up, but when it's down... it's all over the place.

i can grab the window between my fingers and move it up or down by over an inch (the passenger side window, i can only move a quarter inch, which is how much play i remember from my other 3rd gens)

when i had my windshield replaced, i asked the shop to look at it and they said they fixed it, but it was still fucked.

i don't really know much about how these windows are supposed to work, but i popped the panel off and had a look. i can't really see anything wrong, but i put it back on after fiddling around and it still rattles.

i get the feeling a peice is missing, i don't suppose anyone has a picture of how the inside of one of these things is supposed to look?

how do you get these 3rd gen windows tight again? what's the trick?

i go over a lot of rough roads

http://www.p71interceptor.com/thirdgen/powerwindows/ i found this page which has a lot of picutres of the inside of a 3rd gen door, but mine doesn't look anything like these!

i wonder if the verts are different, or if 90-92 changed..

lol... mine isn't even that tight...

for the most part the exhaust noise covers everything else, but the window noise and stuff scraping the ground over bumps and dips are the only 2 things that will come out on top haha

pop it off again and look at the metal piece that the bottom of the window sits in. it should be tight in there, like glued or something. if its not, that could be your problem
