It's suposed to have twice the grabbing power over stock clutch, I put in 1 of my old camaros and it made it way easier to get 2nd gear rubber

so its a pretty worthwhile investment to get a dual friction when i need a new clutch? cause bestbuy has them for really cheap apparently.

anyone have experience with the spec stage 3 clutch and the dual friction one as well?

i want to know which is better...im sure the spec clutch is though since its a race/street application

the spec clutch is prolly a better clutch,
but your lt1 has an over rated hp of 285,
i wouldn't be to worried about your clutch sliping
with a stock clutch
personally I've always used centerforce never had a problem
centerforce dual friction is in my 95, with the supercharger kit the company claims 425hp, 8ps of boost, air to air, fuel pressure reg, and fuel pump,
i also have injectors, head work, and custom tuned ecm
haven't had a problem with it yet with the clutch
