Motor Vac

Hey anyone done this before? is it worth my time to do it as i am startin to notice some pining on my stock 305 thats got about 190 xxxk on it now any pros and cons i should know about??

i was wondering what that was too, seems like elton has been smoking crack, hes also looking for headers for his stock 4bolt main 305 ::) i didn't know they existed.

Nobody's heard of motor vac? And I think he means pinging.

A motor vac cleans the intake side of your engine. If your gonna get a motor vac done, make sure its the actual motor vac setup that they have at dealerships and such, not those cheap ass motor flushes and crap places like Wal-Mart do, those'll kill your engine.

As far as being worth it, you're probably better off just running a little water through your engine. Rev it up to 3000 RPM ish and let it suck some water out of a cup through the PCV valve. Just a little bit at a time.

i do them all the time.
we have had customers call us and say their car hasnt run better,i did it to my iroc and didnt notice anything.
but i failed a volenteer emissions clinic in kelowna then i went to work and motor vaced it and then it passed so its your call

hey buddy, well i managed to get a great deal through abuddy of mine, i am gettin some hedmen shorties with the ypipe and everything down tot he bolts for a lil over 300 bucks including tax i hear the y pipe need minor fabbrication thats about it

give me a shout if u are lookin for headers

so anyways anyone else do this motor va on a regular bases and have no troubles about it loosin bolts or anythign like that internally?
