Here is another one. Says it was never raced but it has a roll bar. Promo cars never had a cage did they?

its nice, but why did they hack up a players car to put all those additions on it? makes me cry!
mabe im to much of a purist and like to have them preserved as what they were

I like too but its not original.. the cage is the east coast roll cage tho...

I know I am new to players cars but there was a difference in roll cage placement between the east and west?

yes Davenport built the west cars cages
not sure about the east coast
the west coats cages were much nicer in my opinion

Here is a pic of my roll cage. I assume that is a west version, as it is different from the other shot. It is a little hard to see as you cannot see all the points, but it is partially visible.

Nearly all East coast cages were made by CSC racing (except 1986) ... who still has the jig for it. For a mere $1150 you can have a complete player's original roll cage. The last design did not require the top of the dash to be cut either.

you know I think I will purchase one...
the best cage ive seen is the one in my demo car.. the one they used at the malls etc.. its mint!!!
