Okay the cars over heating. Its got a brand new thrmostat, it is in the right way, and im pretty sure the water pump is working because when the car is running there is mass pressure in the hoses, it seems like alot, like i can barely squeeze the hose but i dont know if thats right. Hmm what else, good rad and cap. So I dont know why the fucker is over heating. I think I might have a blown head gasket :-[ I dont know what else it could be. Im gonna take out the thermostat tommorow and see how she reacts to that. I hope its not the head gasket. Know what else it could be?

What about:
rad flush
ignition timing
air damn
When does it exactly overheat? (like what driving conditions)

if its head gasket, u'd know, right, as there'd be coolant in the oil, and vice versa... so check if the oil is milkshakey... if so, sorry man... otherwise, best of luck, and give her a rad system flush..

test your thermostat, throw it in a pot of boiling water and see if it opens. Next, Put hands on hips, jump out window and tell parents to stop wasting my time with failure childd!

I was told its because my fan shroud wasnt on there its like that, but i highly doubt that because it gets hot on the highway too. But I took out the thermostat and it hasnt overheated yet, though i havent driven it long enough to actully know. I think one of the water valleys in the block might be plugged because aparently the guy i got the engine from used that seal shit. but I donno. Is there somthing you could put in the rad that would break that shit down?

fan shroud suprisingly makes a huge difference, does it overheat when stopped only or when driving too?

your clutch fan may not be engaging :-\

I replaced the clutch fan i think it wasnt engaging, but it didnt get hot idleing just at high revs, like when i drive the shit out of it, it would start getting hotter and not cool down even at low revs, high speed cruising, so i think maybe the clutch fan was the problem

maybe your car is depressed cause it needs a paint job and its trying to commit suicide.
