Newbie Question

Hi all , just sold my mustang and plan on buying a 1980 camaro z-28 , 350 , auto tranny , i want to convert it too a 4spd standard , how much can i expect to pay for a swap , and how hard too find / and how expensive would a good working tranny run me???

Why? Build up the auto if it runs fine and keep that extra time in the quarter.

i got lots o tricks for that car ;D auto = right, go fast. 4 speed for the good one and conversion will be mighty expensive :)

almost forgot, theres always 6 speed conversion hehe t56 = fast too ;D

i hate automatic cars , standard is just my preference , if its not standard and will cost a fortune to convert i dont want it , i guess ill just keep my eyes open for a 4spd for sale

I sold my last 5spd tranny for $500 without the pedal assembly and woulda let that go for another $100.
