Anyone use a G-tech pro or G-tech competition...was thinking of buying one of the two...wanted to know if they work well...ebay has them for cheap. Or are there better brands out there.

for the money a regular g-tech is pretty cool, just to see any change in 1/4 mile times, trap speed is usually 5mph too fast, but they're a good comparison tool

thanks
ya, they say their trap speed is more accurate than the tracks, as the tracks times are averaged between two points...but whatever, knowing that the G-tech trap speed is 3-5 higher you can figure out what your track trap speed would be too pretty easy

yeah, well, the trap speed is like 5 mph higher than on the track, cuz at the track, dont they average speed over the last 100 feet, whereas g-tech does it at the point,
but as i say, good, cheap little toy... a friend bought 2 off ebay, brand new for $35 + shipping each, want to find that deal again, but they're more like $45 + shipping...

Car and Driver magazine uses a G-tech to test cars so I'd say its got to be pretty damn accurate
