What's the diff between 7 1/2 and 7 5/8 rear? Is one of them the Borg-Warner version?

The 85-89 BW 9-bolt was actually a 7 3/4 ring gear. The only difference in the 9 bolt was it got PBR calipers in 89.
The 7.5 and 7.625 are exactly the same, when they changed the name to 7.625 (somewhere around 85-86 I think) they have different pinion bearings. But the ring and pinion are still the same size, same with axle shafts. Then they changed the spline count from 28 to 31 or something in 90.
