Formatting Issues

There seem to be formatting issues with any web browser other than IE. The yellow log in box occupies 1/2 the screen in every thread... no matter what I do I can't get rid of the intrusive yellow box.

I've tried Safari, Mozilla, Netscape & Firefox (Firebird). I refuse to use MS' Internet Explorer... Surely I'm not the only one who's suffering from this problem?
