oil pan?

do 3rd gens use a special oil pan?
I was told they have their own specific pan for 3rd gens only
I have a pan out of a 69 nova will it fit in an 86 T/A

55-79 pans are the same (except for 62-67 IIs and Monza's and such), I think the only difference between the 55-79 pans and 80-85 is what side the dipstick's on, but 86-later are different due to different rear oil seal and they use pan rails.

I use an oil pan out of an 81 van, dont worry, it'll clear
