yes it will bolt right in no problem, they even fit s10's with VERY minimal mods.

I had my own question that I thought I'd throw in here: What different kinds of boxes are there? I've heard of 2 different styles for the 3rd gens. How many turns lock-to-lock do these have? My 89 has 2.5 turns lock-to-lock. Is that good? I seem to like it but if it gets better I'm all for getting the best one.

any 82-92 box will fit, the iroc gta etc... boxes will be 12:1 ratio, some of them have different stops etc.... depends on 15" or 16" wheels

and camaro box will be an upgrade from the like 17:1 boxes in g bodys, just make sure it has the bolt on(4) top cover on the box and not the spring clip style

Im pretty sure all F-body 82-92 where power steering.

I know of people putting S-10 boxes into F-body's for manual steering.
