not a ton. got the rear shackles built for the front springs and the front mounts for the rear spring tacked in place. the rear spring mount built just need to cut back of frame off and weld it on. but i did go to van on sun so i lost a bunch of time there

boxed the frame got about hr and half to fin welding up the boxing. and got motor sitting there. just got to slap the cab on to see how much its going to hit. if i have to move the motor around be for i weld up the motor mounts. fuck is this shit time consuming

i am guessing you are talking about the front of the front fenders. just cut them for room. the reason its so far forword is so that the tires do not hit the cab when its at full lock.

how much lighter then the fullsize do you think its going to be?

not too sure. but two ppl can pack around the frame even tho boxing it and shit made it quite a bit heavier then stock. and the cab can quite easily be packed around by two ppl. and the box will just be skins. cage will add a bit of weight. i think the motor trans t-case and diffs will out weigh the rest of the truck by quite a bit. just the diffs alone prob weigh more then that the frame and cab. i will deff be swinging by a scale

i still have no pics of fin truck... pulled motor two weeks ago bent 4 maybe 5 rods. took block down to engine shop. going to build a 496 short block put my old heads and cam in it to get it running till i can buy the proper top end and cam. got vid of in cab on the hill and one of me taking the big drink of water but cam with that one on it is not around

going to see how the back goes. there is way more work to do the front but if i do it would prob not be triangulated just use a panhard bar. and i would want to flip the pumpkin and get reverse cut gears so its high pinion then have to build new headers out side the frame to make room for mounts. there is prob a bunch more stuff to get in the way. so maybe just the back this year.

Looking good! Id definatly be boxing in the truss if I were you,knowing what you put this thing threw.

There is a program you can use that would make life easier doing the front link setup, just cant remember what its called. I just cant imagine having a 4 link rear setup with leafs in the front. Usually its the other way around. But you gotta start somewhere.

yep its going to get all boxed in just tacking it all in place to make sure there is no binding issues alot harder to change something if its all welded. i have the program for calculating everything. find it easier to put the links where you want them then measure everything and see where your at. all i got to do is drop the top links that are not mounted yet down a bit and it should be about 100% anti-squat then i will make it adjustable from there.

since the pics i have cut the collector shorter and put a bolt on cap on the end. the exhaust then comes out the side of the collector right under the cab mount with a side pipe thingy

and now to what i am doing lately putting some bump stops in and a sway bar

finished it up for the most part flexed it out a bit on a wood pile and the sway bar didn't snap in half so thats a good sign.

then i went testing and blew a trans cooler line of course had no tools (not even a knife) used a dime to take the hose clamps off and a diff vent to loop the cooler lines to get back home. was about 4mi up the road
