I need some info on what size rims I can put on my 92. Im not sure who to ask, most of the places Ive asked say up to 17", which I know is BS cause Ive seen 22's on a third gen(stupid yes)! 19's look just right but the price jump from 18 - 19 isnt worth it. I would like to mount 18x9 front and 18x11 rear. one guy on cardomain says he has 17x9 front and 17x11 rear. Ofcourse Im trying to go as wide as possible!! What is the limit, what is the offset, back spacing, any info would be greatly appreciated!! Also, can anyone reccomend a place to get a good deal?

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/741209/2 - 11 inch wide!!

ya that blue car is pretty sweet. i think some guys are running a 305 tire out back but that's pushing it. i dont know what that equates to in rim width. i think a 19/18 stagger looks the best. be prepared for trimming

I had to pound out some breathing room to fit 275/40/18's with a 4th gen rear end. I'm using a 7/32 spacer to give a little more room, but a 1" spacer would be ideal...fender would have to be rolled for sure tho.

I thought the widest tire you could get on a 3rd gen was a 295 ???

you can go 305's by modifying the inner wheels wells.
you can go 315's if you roll the fenders and modify the inner wheel wells.

with an adjustable panhard rod, eibach sportlines, 4th gen rear, i fit 18x10.5 rear wheels with 275/35/18... but i think there is enough room without too much modding to squeeze 295's out back...

I've got 275's on the back of my car with no mods to the body at all, theres easily room for 295s exactly how it is. I've got a set of 305's for it next once I'm done burning the 275s off, will cut out the bump stops, modify the inside of the wheel well and possibly roll the inner fender lip

i'm running sportlines, an adjustable panhard rod, have the 4th gen diff (no spacers) perfectly centered and I still had to pound the inner fender to fit the 275's out back. I had to cut the bump stops off just to mount the rear wheels when it was on the hoist!
are you guys running spacers on the rear?

no rear spacers for me.... right now, if i jack up my car from the frame, when the rear end drops my bump stops interfere with my wheels, but i dont plan on ever catching air with my car, so under driving conditions, i figured id be ok... if i go with a 295 tire ill probably remove the bump stops.

56 front and 60 something rear. I ended up using a 3/16" spacer and it gave me enough clearance after doing a little inner fender pounding. Still kinda sucked having to cut off the bump stops, but i couldnt even get the tire mounted with them there.
