im not to familiar with the 302 chev, all i now is the there better then 305 for power, i wanted to put a 350 in my car but with the t5 , the torque is just to great. Does anybody know if the 302 would be a good combo for a t5 because of the lower torque specs, im not planing on making it to powerfull somthing like 280-300hp. Also if 302 chev are even available for cheap, i dont know nothing about them?

I've looked into building a 302, its not cheap, go with a 350 and avoid holding your foot on the gas between shifts ;)

Try a .060 over 283 or 307 block.
