what kinda mufflers to use

ok so i want to get a new exaust on my car i got 2 inc pipes with 40 series mufflers on it right now.im goin to be goin to a 2 1/2 pipe withthe new exaust and i was thinkin about using hooker mufflers. its on a 80 z28 mostly stock 350 got a cam and intake 202heads.wat kinda mufflers u guys all runnin and wat would u sudjest?

ive got flowmaster 2.5 inch 40 series and in my opinion, i love the sound of flowmaster. Never heard a car with hooker mufflers.

uhh don't get hookers for a sbc... if ur changing over from the Flowmasters, get a straight though design such as the magnaflows recommended above.

ive always had good results with dynomax mufflers...i think the ultra flows are what i liked best. But i had bullets before too which sound pretty good if you like to be loud

H pipes build torque, X pipes build horsepower
(Proven in an old Hot Rod mag back in 2000/2001, I forget which month)

x pipe, but a seperate dual exh without tail pipes,straight out the muffler sounds the most aggressive heh

3 inch ;D but to be honest two 2.5 inch is suffeicent, or 2.75 inch.
