Does anyone know what the spring rates are for Sportlines and Prokit? For 3rd gens

Canucks springs have their rates at 625 and 135

the rears are a little retardly low, considering my cavalier's rear springs have a higher rate...

i get that since they sit right over the axle they don't have to be as high, but 135 is just retarded

sorry I dont have the numbers for 3rd gen, but here are the numbers for 4th gen which gives you a reasonable idea....

Eibach V8 Prokit front 400 rear 80-137 drop 1.25"
Eibach Sportline front 360 rear 80-137 drop 1.6" / 1.4"

Do 3rd and 4th gens have very different front suspension setup?

I realize that 3rd gens calls for very high front rates due where the springs are placed on the a-arms

3rd gens have struts as well

Im not sure about the a-arms and the spring mount angles, but stock spring rates are higher for 3rd gens compared to 4th. 4th gens used stiffer dampening shocks to compensate for a softer spring.

Have you searched TGO for spring rates? I know they have been posted there before

The Pro-Kit:
714 lb/in linear front
109-177 lb/in progressive rear

SportLines:
700ish lb/in linear front
130ish rear.

damn so pro-kit is stiffer

I havent driven on a prokit car, but sportlines in my car is pretty tight. I bottom out the rear occasionally, but its pretty rare.

I think the best would be sportline fronts and prokit rear, they should just start making that kit.

shock will make a big diff on how "stiff" it feels as well
