Hey guys, my 89 firebird base model is getting a little sloppy and bumpy... Aside from going to GM for replacements, where do you know of that sells basic stock replacement kits? Or should i just whip over to ok tire and get everything individually? I don't like rolling in corners... Oh and speaking of which, I need a front sway bar too. The ones in TAs and Formulas were bigger than base models ones, so should I just grab one from a junkyard?

thanks!

What is sloppy and bumpy? the springs and shocks? if so, NAPA sells replacement springs and you could even just pick your own spring rates if you want. With shocks I recommend adjustable ones such as Koni yellows or KYB agx's.

WS6 sway bars are 36mm front and 24mm rear. Much bigger than your 32mm front and 22mm (cant remember exactly) which are on the base model.

Ah, excellent!

Thank you ever so much. Incidentally, the sloppyness is in the back end, it's really rough and unpleasant. Way too bouncy.

I should try to nab some TA bars I guess...
