just picked up a 98 cherokee limited and it was thrown into park while not stopped, and now has no parking pin to hold it in place so it always needs the ebrake on. possibly and easy fix or is this a big job?

what is typically the problem if the e-brake pedal cannot be depressed at all? fused lines? I have no idea.

if you cant engage the ebrake, its probably a siezed cable.

I picked one up for my cherokee for 100 bux. I had one before i moved I coulda just gave you.. When looking for one make sure it has the 23 spline output shaft..pre-92 they used a 21 spline...I learned the hard way. Just change the tranny

as long as its not a 5.9 limited the tranny is pretty common and easy to find
