What year did gm start putting rear disc on a 3rd gen?

It was an option on every a year of third gen

GM started putting REAL rear discs on in 89...before that it was terrible single piston Delco/Morraine iron calipers :-\

10.5 rear discs are 82-88

11.65 rears are PBR and are 89-92

Don't know much more, other then spline count of axels can tell if there ... 82-87 or 88 = 26spline and 89?+ is 28 spline can't remember.
