just basic knowledge questions, for people like me who know nothing about maintaining a comp.
when I took my in to get fixxed buddies like you need a tune up,

ok then:

-AMD athalon XP 2500 Barton core 1.84 Ghz (this chip is sick fast) can overclock it like mad.
-Shuttle Nforce2 mother board with 400mhz FSB and dual channel capability
-512 DDR 400mhz ram
-maxtor 40GB HD (only 2mb cache) :-[
-geforce3 Ti400 32meg 8) emergency replacement of the FX5200 128meg i had before
-Lite on burner
-samsung 17" flat screen
- last 3d mark 2001 stock settings, and stock speeds i hit 8100 marks, with the stock FX5200 i got 3500. nvidia has perma soured me now because of this!

-some more mods to come, gonna be sick ;D
