....converted a carbed camaro or t/a to a TPI, Im gonna buy a motor complete, i just need a wiring harness and computer, and then a fuel pump, but is that all? how hard will this be? is it gonna be worth it?

My 350 is a whore and needs to be ripped apart again so i want a reliable car for awhile till i can build the shit out of it, so any input would be super good.

fuel injection rules all, tpi easy to fix
more hosrepower than same motor with a carb on it ;D 8),

I'm not a big fan of the LT1
to much electronics makes it had to fix,
and not that much more power than a tpi

I've never played with an LS1
but someday there will be 1 under my hood

Well I'm getting a TPI motor totally complete ran excellent with 200,000 on it for $500 from somone i know (minus the wiring harness and computer) Which I think is a good deal. I dont have much more then that to spend

well....remember to swap the fuel pumps too ya know. And are the fuel lines the same? I don't think so. You'll prolly need those too. Also, since the chassis harness you already have in there isn't for fuel injection, you'll need to splice in the ECM harness to the correct power's and grounds. Do you have the idiot gauges or a full cluster? Just more stuff to integrate. I'll offer my help, though I have little experience with V8's and tons with wiring vehicles! 8)
