What kinda a of hardware would be needed with putting a lt1, t56 conversion into an 3rd gen 5spd. Are there a lot of other parts needed for it fit proper?

hardware? youll need a lt1, accesories, fuel lines, fuel pump, t56, harness, pcm, splice in the 4th gen harness into the thrid gen (easier then it sounds) unless you go with dfi then its stand alone. the lt1 bolts right in, uses the standard sbc mounts. the t56 will also bolt right in. same driveshaft as far as i know. its a pretty straigh forward swap. you may have to ditch the a/c if you have it though unless you want to notch your subframe. if your serious i have all the parts you need and will gladly help with the swap. pm me or check out my post in the parts for sale section.

That website is good .... it's a guide being developed by a bunch of us on TGO to help out anyone else looking to complete this swap.
